The backstory

In Spring 2018, Qian did her master thesis with focus on feasibility of machine learning in assistive technologies for empowering people with visual impairments to travel in outdoor environments independently.

In Summer 2023, Qian started the project SeeBot that is a pivot from the master thesis. The project later entered the Startup Program, with Beatrice joining the founding team, at Uppsala Innovation Center, Sweden.

Early in April 2024, we changed the name to AccessMyWay, and we were accepted into the KTH Innovation Launch Program.
